SHAC Consulting Roles
- Assist in the development of the SHAC Playbook, Sustainability Framework, and Project Lifecycle projects
- Actively engage in the research and writing process
- Work with SHAC partners and clients in impact areas of social/environmental policy and justice, community engagement and education, and sustainable building systems/technology
Requirements:
- Passionate about sustainability, resilience, health and wellness, and justice in the built environment
- Knowledge of climate science, building design, construction, affordable housing, education, public health, and/or social and environmental justice
- Strong verbal, written, and/or graphic skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently as a self-starter
- Attention to detail and highly organized, critical thinking
- Ability to commit to 2-4 hours of work/week
SHAC is an interdisciplinary group of undergraduate and graduate students at UC Berkeley with a shared passion for sustainability in the built environment.
